About Our Founder
David Bennett, founder and CEO of Mimic Productions and Mimic Industrial, is a visionary in digital human and AI innovation. With over 30 years in VFX, gaming, and virtual production, his work on films like Avatar and The Hobbit helped pioneer modern performance capture technology.
Driven by a mission to connect emotion and intelligence through design, David launched Mimic Industrial to bring the power of AI avatars, motion capture, and simulation to industrial ecosystems.
He believes the factories and cities of the future aren’t just automated — they’re expressive, adaptive, and deeply human.
